I decided to try my hand at some bottle stoppers. These are a mix of laminations from scrap in my shop, a 4 pack of bottle stopper blanks and some acrylic blanks. The bottle stoppers are stainless steel from www.nilesbottlestoppers.com. The Niles bottle stoppers are made from kitchen grade stainless steel and are Made in the USA. They are very competitive in price with the chinese stuff available from other suppliers.

These being the first stoppers I’ve turned I used several finishes just to see how they worked. Some are Mylands, some are Hut Crystal Coat, some are lacquer and a couple are CA.
