I love making boxes. It allows me to show off the work that was already accomplished over the course of the trees life. I look for lumber with a story to tell, and do my best to show that story.

1st box elder with walnut crotchwood

2nd Padauk with figured ash

3rd Ambrosia maple withcherry burl

4th ash burl with spalted maple

5th walnut crotchwood with spalted maple

6th poplar boxes with padauk and ash

-- Putting the "mental" in experimental since 1973

Very nice boxes Bigogre. You haver definitely found some beautiful woods to create with.

The boxes are well done, but the woods are fantastic. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more. Andy is correct that you need to pay the box makers initiation fee and send us some of this wood!!!
