There really isn’t much to say about this one except what the photos show. It’s a truck themed mailbox. It was supposed to be a one day project. It actually took me several days because of health issues. This was one of my favorite kind of projects though. What I mean by that is, no planning. I’d been wanting to make another themed mailbox ever since I done one for my wife. I just took some wood, drew some lines where I thought they should be, and started cutting. This is what I came up with.

Very cool William. I too thought it was a kids toy until I looked through the pictures.

Man that is one nice mailbox. Is there a Ford emblem? You had me on the first picture till I noticed the fender had a flag. Great job William.

Great looking mail box. Luv it!!!

Do you think the postman(woman) would be upset if it were painted brown with UPS in gold???

Thanks fellas.
I’m glad ya’ll like it.
No Ford emblem.
I did think about putting Willy’s on the front (as in William). I decided in the end that it would be corny and most people wouldn’t get it anyway.

Great design for a very fun mailbox. Is the bed open on the bottom so it doesn’t hold water?

Thanks Rex.

Yes Shoptinker, it’s open.
However, I thought about placing a bottom in it with holes for drainage and maybe planting flowers in it.

Very interesting. For a while I wondered where you put the mail. The last two photos showed where. Thanks for posting.
