Here is the sword case I made for my brother on his birthday to store his Raptor Sword by Paul CHen (my borther’s almsot a 3rd degree blackbelt) I Wanted to do something special for him since we have moved away from each other & don’t see each other much. IT’s made from all Cedar with felt on plywood for the backing . The symbol is the symbol of ht sword maker. it’s made of poplar & painted black.

I don’t obviously understand black belts with degrees help me out what does almost a 3rd degree black belt mean?
The sword case I cant see too well but then mybe it’s my eyes/ Alistair

A very nice case your brother must have been thrilled to get it. I don’t about how the different degrees of black belts work either.

I’m not 100% sure how the degrees work either but by almost I mean… I just didnt go up for his 3rd degree belt. We are close but the Karate thing I jsut wanst interested LOL but I have seen him break 5 masonary capping block with his bare hands. I know they were real b\c we went to the locat hardware store & got them.

Hey I know Burton!! We are the same rank in TKD. Went to the same class in LowGap. Wow small world. Good job on the display case!

Jimi – It is a small world.! I did get to talk to Burton he hopes you & your wife are doing well. Maybe we all should get together one day & I can watch you & him break blocks LMAO… BTW now since you got into woodworking have you thought about all that lumber you all wasted by breaking it in TKD class ha ha-
