These are 6 piece bird feeders that took about 30 minutes to make. Got the idea out of a scroll saw magazine. There is a peanut butter recipe that you can use also to feed the squirrels with. I think the apple is easier and less expensive though.

Neat project. I might think about using this a summer camp project, was thinking about a birdhouse for the older kids but only have a limited amount of time and tools. What did you use for the pins to hold the apple?
