Project Information

In 1982 I used to work in a printting firm as a fork lift driver where I had collected free plywood sheets supose to be taken to the bin. These two vases were made from that collection around that time. So, they are more than 25 years old by now. 12 years ago, the idea of giving one of them new effect had come to my mind. I painted the inside of the neck as far as I reached and wiped the brush with the lip of the vase (out toward in) and left the gravity doing its job. Poeple around me had mixed reactions, between loud WOW ! and "Oh no, you've spoiled it". I liked it and decided to keep but not repeat it.

Obviously one of your favourites Sam as you have kept them for so long, I would say have that rather nice "aged" look as to the finish :)
