One of my first small projects that is starting me on my way into woodworking. A whale made of maple, cut with a hand held jigsaw, routed the edges, sanded, stained and a light coat of glossy polyurethane. More projects to come!

Nice job especially if you used a jig saw… I have a tough time controlling mine leaving a lot of sanding.

Nice shimmer to the wood, too. Well done.
