A crayon box for my Daughter

This was a fun project for the day, a little box for my Daughter to hold her crayons in while she colors. The idea is my Wife’s and I think it is a wonderful one! :) The crayons store away inside and the lid fits inside snugly to look like a cute little cedar box. And the crayons can sit in the upside down lid when in use. Very cute idea I thought.

It was a great afternoon project, on a beautiful day with my little girl. She even drilled some of the holes and was so proud to do so.

Nice project and the shot with the sucker will get better every year. I like the idea, but would have made the box to lift off the the crayons in the holder on the bottom. Magnets would hold it together. It doesn’t really matter, but that is what I would do. However, in the long run all that really matters is that you worked on it together.

Now she can show it off to all of her friends with a “look what I made.” A great project for dad and daughter.

I just wish that shot of her drilling showed her wearing eye protection – 80 years of damaged vision is a horrible thought.
