After looking for a crib that would be unique and fit our style, my fiance decided I was just going to build one. Here’s the baby jail we designed. It’s finished with minwax water based, oil-modified in semi gloss.

This is much more my style than the delicate ones too. Even though it is quite robust, it definitely has nice lines and is pleasing to my eye. I am guessing neither of you are short though – nice high sturdy sides. Congrats on the addition to the family – a girl?

Oh, I love the name “baby jail”

Wow, that beetle kill looks great. I like the curved sides and the fact that all the rails are broken up by the wider pieces. I’ll be building a 3-in-1 crib this month with beetle kill. I hope to turns out as nice as yours.
