These are photos of some pens and pencils that I made when I first got my mini lathe, around 2001 or so. I still have some of them; others I have given away as gifts.
I don’t remember what most of the woods are. The first is spalted dogwood. I think the other pen (without the keychain) and the pencil may be the same species. If you recognize the woods please let me know what they are!

Well done. I like the spalting.
Didn’t realize one could turn pencils, but I guess duh…if you can turn pens, why not mechanical pencils :)
