Unfortunately, I have 120 of these bad boys to make, and since this is the latest prototype (practice) model, I don’t even get to say, “Only 119 to go!” It’s made out of white oak, all with but joints, brad nails, and screws. If you are familiar with Weis Markets grocery stores, you’ll be seeing these racks holding some peanuts in the future! Critiques welcome… thanks for looking!

Wow, 119 more sounds quite a time commitment. They look great though, very sturdy looking.

Looks fine for peanuts to me Tyler. Only thing I might do is do a little edge easing.

cabmaker,
A 1/16” roundover on all the edges was actually in the plans, but the rock-hard white oak broke the chuck inside my router to pieces before I had the chance! Thanks for the comments, guys.

Very cool. This Mrs. and I shop a few times per week at the Weis about a mile down the road here in Endicott, NY. I’ll have to keep an eye out to see if any make the trek up to NY! What’s your target time frame on the order of 120?

Unfortunately, I only have until the end of July to get them all finished. Oh well… I guess summer vacation is for working anyway haha
