So this is what got me started in woodworking. these are just 2 of the games I have built. They are pocket hole joined from the bottom so no nails or screws are visible. They are also hand painted.

Very cool, nice attention to detail. Did you make the bags or buy?

I purchased the bags. Looked into making them but decided I did not want to learn how to use a sewing machine.

Sewing the bags is the easiest part. I learned pretty quick. Good to see other people building boards with 1×4’s instead of 2×4’s.

I made a set of boards, emblazoned with NORTH CAROLINA. Nice, fun project; years later, we’re still talking about them and having fun with them.

I have made many sets and so far have none of my own. I have 2 sets built and ready to be stained, painted and sealed. But that is my least favorite part. So I have been putting it off. I have the least amount of knowledge when it comes to finishing. There are some gorgeous projects out here with great finishes.
Have your say...
