I like the leg detail—very interesting! And although a lot of folks on LJ don’t seem to like a glossy mirror finish, I think it is beautiful!

THe leg taper from 3.5” down to 2.5 ” from the midpoint.

Yes, you hit the proportions just right! It’s the sweet spot of having enough material in the right places to make the piece appear solid but not heavy.

Nice looking table, I’ve been wanting to furnish my living room, I have stuff I purchased that’s so out dated like in the late 70s early 80s era . I’m saving up some of my spalted hackberry as inlays just for this task.

That is a beautiful table that will become more beautiful as that cherry ages. The ‘reverse’ taper on the legs works well. M/T joinery for aprons to legs? I like the finish on this piece as well.
