I made this toilet roll holder to satisfy well you know what!!!!
It is made from Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata), sealed with two pack floor epoxy.
The roll holder bit was turned and has a spring in the centre so it won’t fall out.
It has had a lot of use over the years and it is one of those things that we could not do without, unless we could use some bark to clean the Umm bits!

I like the idea of the spring. I made some similar but the stem went all way through the side. I have seen them where the stem rest in a slanted slot in end pieces. I guess it’s like everything else there is morin one way to skin a cat.

I like this. I need to make one that encloses the t.p, because I have a couple o cats that like to nibble on the edges of the t.p. once in a while. This is a very nicely done holder. Elegant in it’s own way
