Decided to start making endgrain boards again. I found a local cabinet shop who will run items through their wide drum sander fairly cheaply. I’ll use theirs till I can get my own :)
This one is Cherry and Maple, 12” x 17” x 1”. The “breadboard” ends are a new touch (for me) and I love them. I finished it with a 50/50 blend of GF Salad Bowl Finish and Mineral Spirits.
I actually made this one about 6 months ago, and it sat on a shelf unsanded since then. I wanted this to be thicker, but after a bad glue-up (on my old tablesaw) I had to do quite a bit of sanding to this one.
Tanks for looking!

Nice one Andrew.
Looks nice and tight.
Those breadboard ends add a bit of class.

Thanks Steve! Compliments from someone who makes boards as nice as yours are well-received.

Nice Work Andrew, the end grain or ‘butcher block’ boards are the cook’s favorites, or so I’m told!
