Sofa Table

This is my first attempt at making furniture. My daughter in law asked if i could make a sofa table for her and this is the result. The top is quarter sawn red oak and the frame is from pine and she picked out red mahogany for the finish.
For me the thru tenon and moritse was the hard part along with the finish but i did learn a few things along the way.

I think it looks great! I really like the concept of the sofa table, I’m just missing one key component….room for one behind a sofa!

Great job on the table Arnies!!!! Love the finish on it too! Did a good job on the thru mortises too! If you can do those, you can do a chair!!! And its a piece of furniture that will last a lifetime! Great Job!!!
