As this post suggests, no.2 was not accepted by my wife either. She liked one of the first ones only slightly bigger & not red cedar. This is spalted Oak. 4-1/2 inches long & 2-1/2 inches wide. 1-1/8 inch thick. I figure I have about 12 hours into a $20 piece. Ugh. But if she is happy…...........

Thanks for looking

You are a determined man!

Good job on all the designs/ideas you have had for these.

Three’s the Charm. At least you know what to build if ever asked again. If you could fine tune the process you could do well at $20 a pop. It looks nice.

Oh yeah, no what you are talking about…

I like the box… well done. It does remind me of another version of Andy’s Palm Boxes. Here is a link to SASmith who did a blog on the build... but credit to Andy...

Happy wife happy life. ha ha. Anyways, I know what you mean about that and taking hrs to make a somewhat simple piece. Hope to get some good jigs set up for my more favorite items.

Have your say...
