I have been busy with a lot of things recently so have not been posting here much… still drop in and have a look but…..
This is a Lazy Larry that I made for my wife as an anniversary gift….26 years of marriage…
Timbers used… purple heart, silver ash, tasmanian myrtle and tasmanian blackwood as a boarder… it measure 480 mm or 19 inches in diameter…
Main picture was taken at a local markets where I had a stand…

Congrats on the anniversary.
Very nice indeed.
Looks like veneer work but I figure it is solid.

Great design and wood choices. It’s very sharp! A belated Happy Anniversary to you and the Mrs. Those of us with more than 20 years of marriage are a real minority, here in the USA anyway.

I’m sure she loved her gift. Although, she is probably so used to seeing all of the great boards you churn out that she wasn’t as impressed as any other wife would have been. :)

Hi Larry.

Only 26 years? Give it time, the first 50 years are the hardest. Next month the wife and I celebrate 38 wonderful years together. Her best quality? She puts up with me! :)

Many happy returns my friend. With lovely gifts like that LL, you must have a very happy mate.

Paul

Congratulation on your 26 Wedding anniversary. Nice Lazy Larry… the tumbling blocks towards the center makes it so deep in the center.
