Today I was looking at my shelve and these two boxes were screaming at me would you please finish us. These were two of the first boxes I ever built. But I never hindged them. I put them on the shelve and there they sat. So Today I hindged one and use magnets for the other. The first one is Tenio and the other is canary wood and Black limba. So now its time to find them good homes lol.
Thanks Dennis

Love ‘em. My box joints generally look like they’d go well with a piece of cardboard with macaroni glued to it.

Or are those splines?

Nice work nonetheless.

The magnets hold well? I like that idea. I don’t think it would ever have occurred to me to do that.

Nice grain. Should be easy to sell.

Keep some photos so you remember how much you have improved. Except you are still using ‘ugly’ wood!! Actually the top on the first box is not too bad.

-- Robert, so much inspiration here, and now time to work!!!

Unless you really need the money, I would keep those boxes.

I would never sell the first couple boxes I made. For one, no one would buy them (LOL) but they remind me of what the beginning was like for me. My boxes are UGLY and very poor, but they are the first things I built and I would never sell them.

Just a thought.

Nice boxes. I like the top on that first one.

These are nice and I can see that they won’t be your last. Boxes are fun to build.
