After I finished the stands today I desided to make another box it has been a while since I made one but I needed to replace the walnut boxes I sold so here is a new one. I want to thanks everyone for their support today on the cutting board stands. The wood is Walnut and mistery wood have no clue it came with some Maple Robert Triplett and I got. Any guesses?

Love that one. The top’s grain swirl is great.

Afraid I may be too artistically challenged to find the “abstracts” but I would observe that the top is one mighty fine piece of wood.

Love the box lid. I couldn’t see the mystery wood, but it looks nice enough.

Maybe Mahogany on the sides?

It is nice when you run across a piece of wood like that and get a chance to showcase it. Nicely done.

Taking my best shot at finding abstracts:

1. Bottom right looks like a wolverine or mongoose looking at it’s refection in the water.
2. The middle image reminds me of a praying mantis
3. upper left corner reminds me of a little space ship with rippling energy waves traveling through space and into a yet undiscovered Nebula.

No I’m not on anything… hahahah (I would be scared to look at this if that was the case).

Awesome work!

Have your say...
