After my kayak I wanted to try something different so I am doing a stand up paddle Board. It’s 12 feet long and 30 inches wide, I didn’t have plans so I took measurements from several different stores and came up with my own design. Its made of cypress and cedar with teak and basswood inlay on the dolphins. It took about 40 hrs to build using Nick Schlades strip built kayak techniques was a fun project hope you like it

Really nice. I guess I need to google Nick Schlades and see what I can learn.
Thanks for posting.

Strip planking many are made with solid wood but I was trying to keep the weight down so I have two layers of carbon fiber. Did not use bead and cover planed each sttip to fit.
