I came home from a show on Sunday and I had a request in my web site e-mail. The guy wanted 4 cutting board stands. So I talked to him yesterday and he desided on Cherry Wood for his stands. He wanted two to be able to hold 1” boards and two to holded 1 1/2” boards. So today I cut them for him. When I asked how he found me he said he was googling cutting board stands and had trouble finding them in wood. One of the sites he found was LJ’s and then entered cutting board stands in the search and he found me. Who said meta Tags don’t work even here at LJ’s. Thanks LJ.

I preach the word of LJ’s all the time. It has become more of an obsession probably than it should.

LJ is so weird in that it can be absolutely nasty and wonderful at the same time. I’m happy you made this connection and those are some handsome stands.

Of all of the cutting boards I’ve made , I never thought about making stands for them….they usually hang or sit on feet or just lay on their backs waiting to be used. LOL
Thanks for the the great idea , and I like the design of your stands : )
Congrats on the sale as well !

Anyone notice: if you stand 2 of the stands together (short end to short end) it makes an LJ,,,,,

I know this is an old post.

I was being nosy through your projects Dennis and found this project, I’m not sure if you already have an facebook account but if not you should create one, You have a spouse so that helps but one by themselves I tried the personal business website but found that I was doing more business on facebook then anywhere plus I don’t have time for all that data entry crap, I’d rather be in the shop making sawdust, I also use Etsy and have been doing good there as well as for as online sales go.
