key holder part 2

When we last talked I had made three small key holders for a friend of my wife to chose from. All three failed because it was supposed to fit in your pocket. After I got over the communication oversight I tried to come up with something. This is spalted Oak. About 4-1/2 inches long. Water based poly finish. I’ll find out later tonight if she’ll even show her friend this one (friend never saw the others).

Thanks for looking

Job completed! You oughtta give the woman one of each and put the smaller one in the first one you did. After all, it’s a key holder! LOL

Good job.

That’s cool and I haven’t figured out how you did it yet.

Split it down the middle and routered out the inside. Then notched the end to match. Sanded the crap out of it. Grizzman, I never actually seen the key. Got the “well it’s about this big” line from the wife. Stay tuned, there may be a part three.
