Here are two additional cutting boards I created. One went to a friend and the other one went to a co-worker.
Both are made from Cherry and Maple following the same process that I followed with the earlier cutting boards in my blog.
The bowl on top is a paduak bowl.
Enjoy!

Nice boards, I enjoyed your blog too. I have some maple that also has the darker marbled look similar to yours, always wondered why it did. Thanks!

Thanks Smitty. I should have some more time soon, so the blog should be seeing some more action.

Thanks Smitty!
I bought the wood from a guy who had a barn and he had just picked them up from some amish guys in lancaster, so I can verify if they are truly maple, but at least that is what I was told.
Second, I have to admit, knowing now that there may have been some burning from my table saw, as well as some dark marks from the glue touching the metal of the clamps. I didn’t think that maple did that, but what do I know. :)
Thanks for checking out my blog, I am about to post a project mounting my new router table into my table saw wing. Should be interesting!
