Spoon Weekeend

Made these 5 spoons over the weekend. The wood’s used from left to right in 1st pic are hickory, cedar, maple, sycamore, and walnut. Had to “patch” the smallest spoon as I blew out the bottom with the dremel.

The sycamore spoon is by far my favorite of these. I call it the “chili” spoon. The “spoon” measures 3 1/2’’ across x 4’’ long. It’s a small bowl!

I am assuming that I will get more creative as I go along. You’re doing such a nice job.

I feel a Soundgarden classic coming on….lol. Really fine work Jay, the maple is a sure favorite. Keep them going!

I think that they look great; the shapes are very interesting. You did a wonderful job on these.

All very unique. The one in the middle would be very difficult to sip some soup from if you were using your right hand…. LOL I know yer laughin… Ya need to make a left handed one also.. :)

You must have listened when I said I love your spoons and that chili spoon would get the job done for me , I love the pea and pork soup (thick ) my wife makes and it would be great for that also .
