Before I made my first ‘Pallirondack’ chair, I complied with my wife’s wishes and made a bench for the back deck overlooking the canal. I did not use a plan. I just considered what I wanted and started building. I had to go back and raise the side arm rests after I had completed the piece, but other than that I think it turned out pretty good.
My wife found the outdoor cushions at the Bullseye store. Everything else is made 100% from recycled wooden pallets. I still may lower the back a bit to be more inline with the cushions, but….
Notching the braces for the back was the trickiest/worst/weakest part of the project.
Feedback?

Looking nice, I’ve been wanting to dab in some outdoor furniture, I have plans from wood magizine on some stuff just trying to find the time with so many other projects on the table.

Love it! Especially since you didn’t use any plans.
