My wife asked if I could make a coffee table. I said I could and I was forced to start looking for plans. I found some that used recycled pallets. I drive a lot for work, so I see pallets along side the road all the time. I thought I had found an easy source of lumber.
Fast forward three months and four other projects (coffee table, patio bench, patio table and Pallirondack chair). The project shown here was a gift to a friend. A double Adirondack-styled “Double Pallirondack Settee” that features a two-level table that connects the chairs that is also an umbrella holder. My friends stained the piece with cedar colored wood stain and it is now a favorite out by the pool.
All made 100% from recycled wooden pallets.

Great design variation on the seats being side by side, good idea for the umbrella too…
Forget a picnic table, I’ll be making one or two of these!
