Just finished my first real woodworking project… a pine pantry for our kitchen. It’s been about a year in the making, but I’ve learned a bunch along the way. The face frame is all hand cut mortise and tenons. I cut the coves for the raised panels on the table saw ( it gives a nice look for a lot less than those expensive router bits). Anywho, let me know what you think.

Very nice project. I look forward to seeing many more. Hopefully they won’t take a year. Thanks for the post.

Hi Andrew,

This is a nice cabinet. I like the raised panel doors. The curved bottom rail and knots give the piece some nice details.

This is a good job, especially given that it is your first project. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks guys. Chris, I stained the inside and shelves, then used a few coats of Watco danish oil all over.

Nice Project. Reminds me of the pine smell which is one of my favorite things about woodworking. Right next to watching that rough board majically transformed as it comes through the planer.

Great cabinet. I just finished my kitchen cabinets using Pine as well. It is nice to work with, don’t you think?
