I was commissioned by my son’s preschool to make 34 birdhouses (2 for each class). Each class was going to decorate one to sell at an auction and one to decorate to hang at the school. It was a lot of fun trying to come up with different designs and a good chance to begin exposing my children to the joy of woodcraft. I spent a great deal of time imaging what the kids were going to do to decorate these structures. I was very suprised at how creative they were. I’ll post some finished products and let you see for yourself.

What a fun and rewarding project! I certainly commend you on finding such interesting and distinct design. I look forward to see the pictures after they are decorated. They look great :)

Nice project! These’ll look great after they’re decorated. I really like them all ghostly white too. The uniform color allows the changes of light really to reveal the planes in the individual bird houses.
Cool,
