Although I’ve had the lathe for a while, I only recently started trying bowls. Neither of these bowls are my first, I think they are the 4th and 5th but are the first I liked when I finished. Pic 1 is Cherry, about 5 inches or so across. Pic 2 is stained Poplar, a little bigger at 6.5 inches. Pics 3 and 4 just show the size and technique for turning a dovetail recess in the foot to chuck the bowl to finish the top.
All I can say is that bowls are highly addictive. Thanks for looking …
