This was a quick weekend project I made for my oldest daughter Taylor, after she came to me with her art final in hand, and (with a big smile) asked if I would make her a frame since she received a 99 out of 100 grade. She didn’t have to ask me twice, since I love making things with purpose. I had a small piece of figured sapele out in the shop that I thought would be perfect. I added the usual ebony plugs, and some splines in the corners to give it that G and G flare. Then I finished it with some waterbourne dye, followed by some BLO.
Thanks for looking,
p.s. sorry about the pics, but I’m not big on the fancy photo shoots yet.
