I made this small cutting board for my wife back in Aug. of 2011, not made out of a hard wood since they are hard to find here in Guatemala, but I liked the final look of it and with the right conditioning it has held up to knife cut’s quite well.

Made entirely out of mahogany. It was a rough cut out and took about a day including the gluing. About a foot in size and 2” thick. Wouldn’t you know it, now she says it’s too heavy and hardly uses it, I use it for cutting up the dogs meat more than she does ha ha

Great Board. All the boards that I have made mahogany ones are always my favorite!

I really like mahogany as well. I would not cut the size down but maybe the thickness down a little but not to much. Maybe 1 1/2” or so.

Maybe you could mount it on casters to make is easier to move around.

Just kidding.

That board looks great. What did you use as a finish?

WOW ! Looks great !

What does this unit weigh-in at…?

In my opinion, I should be in the “heavy” weight section. :-)
