I promise that this is my last post today (only 13 hours till midnight). This is my first attempt at this. Obvious beetle pine. M&T joints. 28” wide and 46” long.

Time to move to the show!

Nice (and sturdy) looking table. Never apologize for a post. ” If it is made, it should be displayed”. Monte, can you or anyone else advise your source for beetle kill pine? I don’t think much of it makes it to Texas big box stores. I tried buying some on a trip to Colorado last year and it was more expensive than hardwood.

I really like this table. The proportions are just right (always an issue with tables), the beetle kill very cool, and the M/T joinery fit this piece perfectly. Great job!

Monte – That’s the most pleasing beetle pine piece I can recall. You even carried the blue/blonde contrast pattern through on the legs. Well done.
