This is a board I made for a friend. It’s made of dark-walnut and cherry. This is the first project that I got to use my spindle sander on. It makes doing these handles really easy—I should have gotten one long ago.

Nice board, I especially like the thicker piece of walnut in the middle of the board nice grain. Is it two seperate pieces of walnut glued together in the middle? I agree with the spindle sander. I just got one cant imagine not having it now.

the spindle sander came from the grizzly catalog. kevin, it is two pieces in the middle. when i was ripping the pieces, i saw that those two pieces had to go together—my wife said i should call it “the mirrored lady”
