LOML was expecting something special from my shop after I bought her a plate joiner for Christmas (after she gave me season tickets to the local theatrical company for Christmas). So I decided to dive in a little deeper than I have before and make her this tall dresser. So far, this has been my most advanced project.

I started with a full-size drawing, but soon decided I wanted raised panels instead of flat, and metal drawer slides instead of wood. Well, you know how those things go. Pretty soon I was changing every dimension in the drawing to accommodate my changes.

But here is the result. LOML is more than happy with it. And the little flaws that first seemed to dominate my assessment of it have begun to fade, and I am enjoying it much more.

Very ambitious build, so many nice details . . . and it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

This is excellent.Great job.Of all the pieces of furniture in a home, a chest of drawers is arguably the most versatile. It serves the utility in every room and fits in without being at all out-of-place, whether it be the bedroom or living room.
