We’ve all seen versions of the cracked box. The 2nd one is from a design by Judson Beaumont of straight line designs. On the last one I drew my own curves and thought to top it off with a tray. I like the tray and think it would be very convenient for a lady to keep her favorite ear rings handy but dang, it takes almost as long to build a little tray as it does to build the box itself. Decided to line the drawers with felt on these instead of flocking. Much easier and cleaner. I’ll never use flocking again unless I just have an impossible shape and have no choice. All made from poplar. Not my first choice of wood but what i had on hand.

oh yea, I forgot. They’re all about 13” tall, 6” wide and 4 1/2” deep.

I love the cracked box. Have been telling myself that I’m gonna make one of these, but no one else listens to me so Why would I listen to myself. LOL I like the curved boxes also. I may have to try one of those as well. That is, if I ever start doing what I say I will. Thanks for sharing!
