This is all ash with a Early American Stain! Natural stone with glass tile. The breast board and foot board are also inset with glass tile. The geese and cattails were done on my home made CNC. This was a natural fire place I converted to natural gas!

Hey neighbor, very nice work. I really like your CNC work – great idea with the anchoring cattails on the plinths.
Speaking of CNC, I’m going to have to see your “home made” machine. Heck – it does a better job then commercial machines.
-- I've never seen a tree that I wouldn't like to repurpose into a project. I love the smell of wood in the morning - it smells like victory.
