New Router Table

I decided my previous scrap made router table needed upgrading, and I had just got a new router (triton with above table bit change and height adjustment. It follows many of the other designs on here. Still a couple of things to finish. I’m not sure whether to leave the bottom right section (home to my old router) as it is in the picture or put a cupboard door on and the top right side needs something. I have more than enough bit storage on the right side. I had though drill bit storage. I also need a track for a mitre guage at some point
The table is made with 18mm ply and pine trim. Table is two pieces of ply with pine trim and a simple hole for the router. Another hole is drilled for the above table height adjustment.

A fine router table if you ask me.

Looks very well constructed. Is it just me, or is the bit opening very small?

The bit opening is just bigger than the collet (38mm, off the top of my head) to allow for above table bit changing and is big enough for all the bits I can see me using in the near future. I’ll have to adjust if I ever use wider bits than that.

Looks good.
Are you using it a lot?
I sure need to take the time and make myself one.

It’s amazing how much you do use it. I keep wondering why this wasn’t my first project.
