Awesome Mariya, I love that piece! I like how you used the bark. Did you have any problems with the bark flaking off?

Thank you so much!

No, I have no problems with the bark flaking off.
First I carefully cut out the unnecessary bark by the model ,and before started work I cover only the bark with primer . Bark of boxwood is healthy, just as a boxwood .

It’s almost redundant, but it is a beautiful piece as always. You’re work has such a personal touch that makes it special.

Hi Mariya,
I’m happy to see you have resolved your posting issue.

Your Saint George is beautiful. The fine detail draws you into the piece.

Gorgeous work. The detail work couldn’t be better. The grain of the boxwood doesn’t distract from the subject. Wonderful!
