Awesome Mariya, I love that piece! I like how you used the bark. Did you have any problems with the bark flaking off?

Thank you so much!
No, I have no problems with the bark flaking off.First I carefully cut out the unnecessary bark by the model ,and before started work I cover only the bark with primer . Bark of boxwood is healthy, just as a boxwood .

Another beautiful carving, Mariya. Very well done.

It’s almost redundant, but it is a beautiful piece as always. You’re work has such a personal touch that makes it special.

Gorgeous work. The detail work couldn’t be better. The grain of the boxwood doesn’t distract from the subject. Wonderful!
