I made these keepsake boxes from plans that I purchased from WoodPlans. All the fuss, I figured that I might as well make two boxes; It doesn’t take any longer, just a little extra material. I’ll be lining the boxes with scarlet velvet.

I like the Asian look you have achieved here. Nice combination of contrasting timbers.

Great looking boxes – birdseye maple and padauk? The highlight strips at the top and bottom really set off the background material. Nice job!
