I should probably clarify myself. My daughter made me finish it. I made this box over a year ago, but never finished it. It has sat on my window ledge of my shop ever since. About a week before Valentines day my daughter said we should make something for my mom and send it to her. I told her we couldn’t get anything done and sent by Valentines day. She said “what about the heart box in your shop”. So, off we went to finish the box. She applied the finish and helped me put felt inside the drawer. I waxed it before putting it in the box to ship. It is cherry and maple with a walnut drawer pull. I think it was the first bandsaw box that I made after getting my saw. Well needless to say, Mom (Grandma) loved it. Of course she did, her granddaughter helped make it. I guess I’m gonna have to listen to her more often. LOL Thanks for lookin!

Paul I would say you should have finished this along time ago. I love making band saw boxes and I can see you did a great job on this one. You hid the cut line in very well

Thanks Larry. You’re right about finishing it. I got started on a different project for someone and just never came back to it. Just needed to right push I guess.
