Here’s a photo of a picnic table I designed a while back. It’s a bar stool/ bar height one piece four seat picnic table. Made from western red cedar left over from a deck and a timber roof frame job that I did. Some of my friends refer to it as a biker picnic table because it used to sit at Bubba’s Big Deck in Gruene, Tx. and it reminded them of sitting on their hog/piglet with forward controls. Thanks for taking a look.

thanks blaine. i’ve seen four 300 pounders sitting at it on several occasions. i did use a simpson hm9 connectors bent at a right angle in a vise to beef up the seat connection at each seat. it’s also easy to pick up and carry. it doesn’t weigh much, you can snatch it up and carry it over your head with little effort.

Darrell, That is a way cool design. Did you invent this or are there plans somewhere? I need to build one of those for my daughter’s new house.

Bob, the ones ridin’ piglets know it. ;^)

Blaine, more beer is a comin’

Andy, thanks for the kind words. yes it’s my own concoction, sorry no plans. tables are one of my favorite things to build. I wish that I had more pictures of some of the nice tables I have built in the past, but I can’t seem to find them. bet my ex keep ‘em, she got all the good stuff.

Thanks Ben. I was making lots of 42” tall tables when I made this one. I got tired of people pressuring me to make barstools too.

No $$ in barstools. People would want me to make barstools for the same price as mass produced ones from China. I’d tell them “go to Garden Ridge” It’s an outfit just north of San Antonio that sells barstools cheap.

Great table!!! I needs to build me one of these.

Do all your tables come with cute “escorts”???
