This is my third segmented turning. It’s quite a bit simpler than the urns. I found the plans for it on I changed the base and the top ring to suit me and went from there. It was easy to do and turned out pretty nice. I had a soft spot in the center of the bottom that wouldn’t sand out so I inset a 3/4” mirror into the bottom to cover the bad spot. It has walnut, oak and purple heart and is 3” x 6”.
