Got the plans from U-bit for this double decker blue bird house. It turned out great but the only problem with the design is that there is no way to clean out the house for next year. When I built my second one I make one of the sides so it could be open to clean it out. You will have to make a slight adjustment on the height in order for the side to open. I just rounded the top edge a little. Drilled two small holes and added screws to each side as well as to the bottom.

Finished with clear poly to protect from weather. Do not add any finish to the inside of any birdhouse and try to keep the inside a little rough. Makes it easy for the little birds when its time to leave the nest.
Thanks for looking.

Andy that should have been u-bid. Sorry about that. I believe you can find u-bid at www.u-bid.com Its a site that sells woodworking plans. I don’t buy that many plans but I have found them to have some pretty decent plans at decent prices.
