I built this custom Big Green Egg table for a customer. Made completely of Cypress. I used a combination of pocket screws, dowels, mortise and tenon joints along with glue. He now has a great grilling station and tornado shelter.

A polished black granite plate is inset on the top for hot pans or a burner. The two drop leaf tables make for some serious prep space. Finished with Watco Teak Oil.

We loaded up his (2) Large Big Green Egg ceramic grills.

I am being invited to the next BBQ!

Dang. That is serious.

Nice setup, I am sure it would work for a tornado shelter.

Good job,
Steve

Very nice. What hardware did you use on the folding tables on each end.
