thank you all for your kind comments.

Doc, I will be doing this stool in walnut an maple and this is the prototype to iron out the kinks in design and to make sure the thing is comfortable.

i’ll see what i can do about additional photos.

Jamie, yes the ebonizing was done with with black ink.

stools look great, I have never tried black ink or ebonizing, do you keep the joints clear of it so you can glue it up? Thanks
