My personal treasure chest design.

Crafted out of Clear Pine and Cherry for the trim work.

A wedding present with 200 gold dollars in the middle coconut shells. The rest is filler “fake treasure” from a party store.

I had a lot of trouble with the compound miters on the cherry trim. Turned out okay, did not have time to finish the chest with any product, due to time constraints.

Very nice design and build ! I built a chest for my grandsons birthday and filled it with loot much like You did. It was a big hit with him and I am sure the newly weds were pleased with Your gift as well, nice work and be safe !
