So since I have been working on my floor in my shop I have been spending an unfair amount of time out there. I still need to finish my beautiful wife’s glass shop. It used to be a tack room but we insulated it, sanded down the rough cut 2.5in Pine floor and sheet rocked the whole thing. I then built cabinets for it out of Birch Ply and Alder, laid a tile counter with a Shell tile top and a Black Granite apron. I made a torsion box layout table with a cork tile top and a Bubinga front. The drawers are not finished, nor are a million small other details,so I have not yet posted pictures.

Like I said, there are lots of little things to do, like finishing these jack plates. I made this one from Curly Maple, Bubinga and a stylish black plate from Home Depot. I finished it with three coats of Polyurethane. I need to be better about splitting up my time. It will keep me out of trouble:). Unfortunately, I dropped this one as I was putting it in so there is a nice ding in it already:(. Hopefully she will not notice:).

Bob,

I hope not!!!:) About the movers! but we have a big refinance coming up in February that is looming and scary! But it should all work out!

I am waiting on some drawer slides so I can finish her drawers. I am also waiting on some Waterfall Bubinga and Curly Birch Veneer from woodriverveneer.com to arrive so that I can finish the faces of the drawers as well as the face of her door. I then need to make up her glass cabinet! Your right I need to stop playing around!:)

Best darn outlet cover I have ever seen, bar none! In my previous home I had all covers made of wood and I thought that was pretty spiffy but compared to yours, mine were very drab indeed! Looks like talent runs in your family!
