This is a Cedar Box I made using a piece of cedar fence board I salvaged from a dumpster. The box is made with Hand Cut Dovetails and the hinges are mortised in using a router plane. possibly one of my favorite tools

Well done !A basic box shape turned into classic box with handcrafted dovetails ,very nice .

just came back from salvaging some cedar boards and googled “dovetail cedar box” for some ideas… this is just what I had in mind. Thanks for posting!
