This project I started three years ago and finish it for the exhibition which took place last month.
The name of this statue is Emptiness and is made from an alder tree. Height – 130 cm – 52 inch.
Slihgtly stained and polished with beeswax.

The work at the exhibition was all very nice. There were many wonderful carvings. Your emptiness sculpture/carving is very interesting. It brings to me an image of a wizards cloak. very nice!

Very interesting project! I like how you have a very dark sillouette surrounded by a very light cape. Also inside the dark sillouette their seems to be a face that is very empty and lost. Very creative Jiri!!!!!
